Thursday!

At the end of the lesson on Thursday I will be taking in your first drafts of the RESEARCH INVESTIGATION.

If there are some bits missing, make sure you annotate your work to make it clear precisely what should be in there.

If you hand this on on Thursday it means you get the benefit of my wisdom and advice so I can help you achieve the highest mark possible.

Please see me before Thursday if you need any help or guidance.

Progress task

Make sure you know precisely what you have left to do.

  • Filming last minute bits
  • Finalising editing (and getting the timing right with everything in the right places)
  • Institutional data
  • Captions
  • Film logos
  • Voice overs
  • Music

The only way to get this right is by watching as many trailers as you can that are similar to what you're aiming to achieve.

By the end of the lesson (by way of commenting on this post) I want to know exactly what is left to do, who is responsible for doing and when it will be done. (One entry per group)

Keep going!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a good break and are fully refreshed ready for a term of editing, researching and playing computer games!

The clock is ticking. You have 6 weeks to go until the deadline.

The final deadline for the finished video and your blog is FEBRUARY 12th 2010.

As a group you need to decide what is left to do.

I want to see evidence of a schedule from each group.

Each member of your group needs to have a clearly defined role to be working on at this stage.

  • Editing
  • Sound
  • Graphics
  • Titles
  • Voice over

Folder Check

I am going to be checking to see that you have been keeping up-to-date with this blog and adding notes to your own folders.

So far you should have substantial notes from this blog and other research you have done. This will be mainly about the 3 films we have studied.
